Project Selection is the first required stage of Beyond Brute Force, before Checkpoint 1.

To form your team (or work individually with instructor approval), review the problem definitions, rank three projects, and submit project.json on Gradescope, follow Getting Started / Project Selection.

After assignments are announced, continue to Checkpoint 1: Foundation to create your repository and start programming.
