James Madison University, Spring 2022
Group presentation in class on May 5th.
Presentation
Each team will have about 10 min to present their work: 8 min for demonstration and 2 min for Q&A. The presentation should involve all group members—don't just let one person do most of the talking. Be sure to answer the following questions:
- What is the specific problem and vision addressed in your project?
- What are the main features of your application? Who are the primary users?
- What have you discovered or learned from the data using your application?
- What contributions to society might be expected as a result of your work?
- What future work have you identified? What data would make this possible?
Do NOT prepare slides unless absolutely necessary (please check with the instructor in that case). Most of the presentation should be an interactive demo of your application and discussion of the results you found in the data.
Take some time during the presentation to dive into the code itself. Walk us through the most interesting parts of your implementation. Show us your database design, and explain how the queries work.
