| Show Me Your Code

Introduction

Show Me Your Code (SMYC) allows students to easily show their code to a Professor, Instructor, or Teaching Assistant when they aren't working at the same computer.

Typical Usage Scenario

SMYC is most commonly used as follows:

  1. You are talking to a student remotely about a problem they are having.
  2. You ask them to show you their code.
  3. They use a Sharer to select the files to show you and click on [Share].
  4. A Viewer opens and they copy the link/URL.
  5. They send you the link of the Viewer.
  6. You open the Viewer.
  7. You highlight sections of the code or type suggestions as needed.

Another Usage Scenario

SMYC is sometimes also used as follows:

  1. You are talking to a student remotely about a problem they are having.
  2. You would like to be able to type code fragments.
  3. You open the Viewer (which opens with a scratch pad).
  4. You send them the link of the Viewer.
  5. They open the Viewer.
