Help Submitting Programming Assignments Using Canvas


Canvas is used both to answer questions related to (parts of) programming assignments and to submit time logs.

In both cases, you must:

  1. Log into Canvas Click here for related information from another site. .
  2. Go to the appropriate course.
  3. Click on the Assignments link in the left-side menu.
  4. Click on the appropriate assignment. (Note: In some cases, you may not be allowed to submit Part \(i+1\) of an assignment if you have not already submitted Part \(i\). See the "Policies" page for more information about "Programming Assignment Policies".)

1 Answering Questions About Programming Assignments

To answer questions about programming assignments (or parts thereof), after selecting the appropriate module you must:
  1. Click on Take the Quiz.
  2. Answer all of the questions.
  3. Click on Submit Quiz.

2 Submitting Time Logs

To submit your time log, after selecting the appropriate module you must:
  1. Click on Submit Assignment.
  2. Click on Browse.
  3. Browse to the PDF file containing the completed time log.
  4. Click on Open.
  5. Click on Submit Assignment.
