Help Submitting Assignments Using Blackboard

To submit an assignment using Blackboard:

1. Log into Blackboard .
2. Go to the appropriate course.
3. Click on the Prog. Assignments link.
4. Click on the appropriate assignment.
5. Complete the appropriate areas. (See the "Policies" page for details.)
6. When you have completed the assignment click on the Submit button. (Note: This makes the assignment available to the instructor; you can not make any other changes to the assignment once it has been submitted.)

If you need to attach files click on the Browse My Computer button to find the file. Depending on the assignment, you may need to repeat this step multiple times. (Note: If you have problems attaching a file from a machine running Linux, create a directory/folder named bb:\attach using the FileBrowser and copy the files you want to attach to that directory before you attach them. Explanation: Blackboard assumes you are using MS-Windows and checks to make sure the path/file name contain ":\". Be Careful: You can't create the bb:\attach directory on your "n drive".)

You may be able to review your submission using the "Gradebook" (if it is available; not all courses use this feature of Blackboard).
