KitchIntel designs and develops inteligent computing and communications system for the kitchen that connects appliances, cabinets, etc...; use RFID tags and barcodes to track "inventories"; allow appliances to be programmed; etc...

Vision

KitchIntel Diagnostics (KID) is a system that can be used to transport diagnostic information to and from various kitchen appliances

Target Market

Our preliminary research indicates that there are some other companies discussing such products but that they are not very far along in the design and development process.

Constraints Definition

The core capabilities of KID must be developed in Java.

Business Requirements

KID must be flexible and must, wherever possible, use existing protocols.
