1 About Exams

In general, exams will two kinds of questions: short answer questions (e.g., true-false, multiple choice, matching, fill in the blank) and essay questions. Both kinds of questions may require you to perform significant calculations to answer.

Some questions will look like questions on the homework assignments, which tend to consider a single topic at a time. Others will ask you to synthesize concepts from related to different topics.

There is no single best source of information. You should review both of the following.

Questions can and will be taken from all of these materials.
