1 Course Technologies
1.1 Course WWW Pages
This course has a fairly extensive set of WWW pages associated with it.
For help using these pages, you might want to look at:

1.2 Safari Books
Several books used in this course are available online from Safari
Books. They are available free to members of the JMU community.
If you have trouble accessing these books from off campus, you
    might want to look at:

1.3 WebEx
CS531 is a "hybrid" course, which means that it will have both
distance and local students. Local students can have a
physical presence at lectures, distance students can
have a tele-presence at lectures (if they want to), and all students can
access the recorded lectures on-line. We will be using WebEx
    products to enable this.

Links to the lectures can be found on the

     Canvas "Page" of "Recorded Lectures"

1.4 stu
    "stu" (actually
stu.cs.jmu.edu) is a Linux box that is running,
among other things, an HTTP server that you will use for WWW programming.
Some specific help is available at:
