Controls:
Aiming your shot:
When the game starts you can aim your shot
using the left, right, and up arrow keys. The arrow on the screen
will indicate where your shot is currenty aimed...
- The up arrow will aim your shot towards the center.
- The right arrow will aim your shot to the right.
- The left arrow will aim your shot to the right.
Shooting:
After aiming your shot you can press the space bar
to shoot...
- There is an accuracy meter in the bottom center of the screen
with a vertical line moving accross it. Where that line is
located on the meter when the space bar is pressed will
determine the accuracy of your shot.
- If the line is in the green section of the meter than your shot will be on goal
- If the line is in a yellow section of the meter than the your will have a ~66.67% chacnce of being on goal.
- If the line is in an orange section of the meter than the your will have a ~33.33% chacnce of being on goal.
- If the line is in a red section of a meter than the shot will miss.
Advancing:
After your shot has completed you can press the down arrow key to advance.
Rules:
Goalie:
The goalie will randomly move 1 of 3 directions on
every shot. If the goalie moves in the same direction that your shot
is aimed and your shot is on goal, then your shot will be saved.
CPU:
You are facing off against a cpu oponent who's shot
results will be randomly generated.
Scoring:
The winner of the game will be whoever scores the
most goals out of 5 shots each.
- If one of the players gets ahead by enough that the other can't come back and win with the remaining shots the game will end.
- If both players have the same number of goals after 5 shots each, then the game will keep going until one player scores and the other doesn't.
Known Bugs:
- On very rare occassions upon start the game will not respond
to key presses and needs to be restarted.
- When the goalie moves to the right or left, and a goal is
scored to the center, the final resting place of the ball is
in front of the goalies leg but it should be behind it.
